Between Her Teeth explores of the relationship between intimacy and creativity.  Inspired by the rituals of mother and daughter, this weaving of bobby pins takes its title from the practice of women using their teeth to open and hold bobby pins when their hands are busy doing hair.  Its woven structure is in dialogue with West African fabrics woven in strips on narrow looms that are then sewn together to create large cloths. The woven arrangements communicate the intricate and repetitive pattern of time, habit and craft.
